What was your organisation’s starting point, need and goal when you were looking to purchase a survey and reporting application?

”The YTK Unemployment Fund and YTK Working Life are engaged in an active dialogue with both their large membership and staff of around 200 people. We do a lot of training internally and we want the training to be perceived as beneficial. In this work, evaluation is important. We also want to hear our members’ ideas on a wide range of issues, and we ask them frequently and in a variety of ways. Getting information in a secure and convenient way is important to us,” say Ilona Kangas, Director of Customer Relations and Communications, and Anne Pihlava, Human Resources Director.

What are the concrete results and benefits you have gained from using Webropol’s survey and reporting application?

”The surveys provide our HR management with vital data on the effectiveness of training and various development activities, enabling continuous improvement. We are also able to quickly collect enrolments and conduct a wide range of surveys from our staff who work extensively remotely.

“We have more than 530 000 members. Twice a year, we regularly ask them for their thoughts on a wide range of issues, both in relation to our activities and to the phenomena around us. At best, we receive tens of thousands of responses. We can filter, compare and analyse the results, which enables us to improve our activities and, for example, to raise our profile in many ways. We use our Pulse survey extensively to support our media communications, sometimes validate ideas for our marketing campaigns with our members to engage them with us, ask for their views on our legislative objectives or planned development projects. We feel that by asking questions we are strongly united and ensure that our members know they are important to us,” continue Ilona and Anne.
